Located in the core areas of Longquan City, Zhejiang Longquan Economic Development Zone started to takes shape since 1996. It was promoted as a provincial industrial park in August, 2006; entitled as Zhejiang Lonngquan Industrial Park on 30th May, 2007; in 2010, the industrial agglomeration zone cored on provincial industrial park was listed in one of the 14 industry agglomeration zones officially, short for Lishui Ecological Industry Agglomeration Zone Longquan Branch; in August, 2013, it worked together with Xiaoshan to build provincial coast-mountain cooperated industrial demonstration zone, thus making Zhejiang Longquan-Xiaoshan Coast-mountain Cooperated Industrial Demonstration Zone one of the first batch of nine pilot industrial parks in Zhejiang Province. In December, 2015, it set up Zhejiang Longquan Economic Development Zone approved by Provincial People’s Government.

Lishui Ecological Industry Agglomeration Zone Longquan Branch (Zhejiang Longquan Economic Development Zone, Zhejiang Longquan-Xiaoshan Coast-mountain Cooperated Industrial Park)has a planning area of 30 square kilometers, already building up Dasha Hardware Automobile Accessory Technology Park, Fangye Bamboo Products Park, Songxi Lane Comprehensive Development Block, Lutian Development Block, Zhejiang businessmen returning project, Celadon and Sword Park, with 2.34 square kilometers lands in mild slope of low mountains and hills under construction. There are 201 enterprises entered the park, including 107 above-scale enterprises (32 enterprises with above ￥100 million assets included), 41 national-level new and high-tech technology enterprises. The industrial total output value in 2015 reached ￥11.5 billion, among which the above-scale enterprises had an output value of ￥9.474 billion, accounting for 62.99 percent of the industrial output value of all above-scale enterprises in Lishui.
