Built in June, 2003, Zhejiang Qingyuan Industrial Park was promoted as a provincial development zone in September, 2006 after the recognition of National Development and Reform Commission and related departments. The park is on the west side of county and enjoys convenient transportation, with Changshen High Speed Railway and planned Quning Railway running through. The planning area of the park is 30.67 square kilometers, and area for development is 5037.63 mu accumulatively, 3174.67 mu area for transfer. The development mode of “One district and many parks” are launched, covering Pindu Comprehensive New district, Mengtian Industrial Park, North Industrial Park, Dongshanyang Industrial Park, Wudu Industrial Park, Zhukou Industrial Park, Huangtian Industrial Park, Yushang Industrial Park and Annan Industrial Park.

Pindu comprehensive district is under development with a planning area of 29.9 square kilometers. Based on strategical positioning of “new industrial city and new urban district”, the new district gives priority to ecological and low-carbon modern manufacturing industry, combining business and trade, residence, education, logistics and market as a whole, demonstrating a landscaping, functional and ecological comprehensively new urban district in the 21 century. Up to now, Pindu comprehensive new district offered 1208.1 mu lands for 36 enterprises in the park, 27 of which are under construction and 11 of which go into operation.

Since its establishment, Qingyuan Industrial Park has deeply carried out the scientific outlook on development, making efforts to build a sustainable ecological industrial park with less pollution, low resource consumption, better profits and high technology content. Up to now, there are 112 enterprises in the park (55 above-scale enterprises), 75 of which go into operation. In 2015, enterprises in the park achieved an output value of ￥6.23 billion, including an output value of ￥3.05 billion in bamboo processing industry, ￥890 million in edible fungus food processing industry, ￥770 million in pencil processing industry and ￥600 million in hardware automobile processing industry and ￥920 million in other manufacturing enterprises. In 2015, enterprises in the park made an investment of ￥1.9869 million per mu, annual economic density of ￥3.8506 million per mu, tax payment of ￥78.9 thousand per mu. These enterprises have invested ￥4.099 billion in fixed assets, and the tax payment reached ￥683 million accumulatively. Four leading industries of bamboo and wood products, automobile component, green food processing and stationery manufacturing have taken shape with seven well-known trademarks cultivated, namely Mengtian Wooden Door, Tianzhu Bamboo, Saneh Bamboo, Ji’an Wooden Door, JEJEC, Baixing Food and Jiangyuan Mushroom.
