In the afternoon of October 10th, students in 2018 autumn young and middle-aged cadre class of Lishui municipal Party School were divided into four groups and respectively visited Guixi village, Changting village, Sangling village and Lianhe village, Shitang township, Yunhe County, to carry out rural revitalization research.
‘What difficulties and problems have we encountered in our current development?’ ‘What is the future of the village?’ The investigation and research group conducted in-depth exchanges with village cadres and the masses on the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy by going into the villages and entering the households, holding discussions and exchanging views, and conducting collective discussions. They had a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the production and living conditions of rural areas, such as grassroots Party building, collective economy, industrial structure, and employment of peasants, and carried out discussion on developing village-level collective economy in line with local conditions, invigorating the idle resources in rural areas, merging and developing one or two industries in the rural areas, and promoting the income increase of farmers, etc.
When the first research group of the young and middle-aged cadre class did research in Lianhe village, they put forward that the village needs to follow the ‘company + cooperatives + base + farmers’ industrial development model, make creations with tea, promote the integration of tea tourism, and create a ‘view of beauty, tea art, fun fishing, feast of cuisine’ as the theme of the tourism brand of tea village; it needs to transform ecological resources into tourism economy and turn blue waters and green mountains into wealth.
When the second research group of the young and middle-aged cadre class did research in the Sangshu village research put forward that it should rely on the resources ‘the landscape with ancient characteristics’, make use of Bed and Breakfast and other carriers, carry forward the characteristics of the people, to create the most nostalgic dream home and help rural revitalization.
In Guixi village, the third research group of the young and middle-aged cadre class stressed that it should make full use of the traffic location advantages and the unique natural resources of itself, and on the basis of a comprehensive survey of idle housing resources in the rural areas, it should introduce human resources such as village cadres, new youths, and urban white-collar workers, and develop a cluster of high-quality B&B businesses. It should foster diversified industrial forms of business, increase peasants’ property and wage incomes, and strengthen the new vitality of rural development.
The fourth research group of the young and middle-aged cadre class in Changting village put forward that it should rely on the ‘mountain’, ‘water’, ‘village’, ‘beach’ resources, integrate ‘the beach in the sunshine, the sea among the mountains’ into the development of rural tourism in Changting village. While actively carrying out the transformation of agricultural tourism, forest tourism, it should also cultivate ‘beach culture’, ‘village culture’ and ‘homestay culture’, implant new formats, activate new forces, and make efforts to build Changting village into a tourist boutique village complex of leisure, vacation, and recreation.
It is reported that the researches aim to turn the encouragement of General Secretary Xi Jinping into an actual driving force, and to put ‘Lishui’s efforts’ to win ‘Praises for Lishui’.
