From February 20 to 21, Chen Lixing, the director of the provincial transportation department, led a team to visit Qingyuan to investigate the work on Peer Support and Cooperation. Combining with the functional advantages in different places, they aim to further promote the Peer Support and Assistance for Qingyuan and work together to establish a long-term mechanism to promote the high-quality green development of Qingyuan County.

　　As the group leader of a new round of provincial Peer Support and Cooperation, the Provincial Transportation Department has been paired with Qingyuan County for 15 years since the implementation of the system of appointing rural work instructors in 2004. More than 10 instructors have been dispatched to provide financial, human resources and technical support for Qingyuan County, which has significantly improved the traffic conditions of Qingyuan County.  

　　On the afternoon of the 20th, Chen Lixing and his group visited Caoling Village, Huangtian Town, Liaison Village to check the village appearance, understand the situation and customs of the village, and inquire about the needs for assistance.  

　　“How much is the collective economic income of the village? What is the per capita income of farmers? How many poor people are there in the village? ” Chen Lixing looked around and asked the village cadres for specific information from time to time. When he heard that the collective economic income of the village was 70,000, and that there were more than 20 poor families, Chen Lixing said that "No One Should be Missed" on the road to building a well-off society in an all-round way by 2020. Village cadres should be good "Caretakers", so that they have a good understanding about the village, and pay attention to families with difficulties in their families, and play a leading role in getting rich.  

　　Caoling had built a wharf, which was an important source of goods transportation in the upper reaches of Oujiang River, although it declined with the development of land transportation. At present, Qingyuan County plans to rebuild the ancient pier of Caoling, excavate the culture of the maritime Silk Road, and promote the development of Caoling tourism. 

　　Chen said that Caoling should combine resources, give play to its own advantages, enhance fighting capacity, appeal and cohesive force, and find ways and means to develop strong self-generating vigor at the village level to promote sustainable development. It should renovate and upgrade the village appearance, provide more comfortable and beautiful living environment for villagers, and enable common people have a stronger sense of gain.   

　　In the evening of the 20th, the Provincial Transportation Department and Qingyuan County held a Forum on Twinning Support, and the two sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the work of twinning assistance. At the meeting, Zhejiang Traffic Vocational and Technical College, Zhejiang Traffic Technician College, Zhejiang Highway Technician College and Qingyuan County signed the help and cooperation agreement respectively.   

　　Chen said at the meeting that the next step is for the Provincial Transportation Department to have a more comprehensive and accurate understanding of the requirements of the central and provincial committees to form a supporting policy, and to organize and support member units to prepare the Five-Year Plan for Assisting Actions, to clarify the duties and implementable and operational objectives of each helping unit, and to accelerate the implementation of the new round of supporting planning under the premise of the overall development planning of Qingyuan, and to provide strong support for the development of Qingyuan.   

　　Chen stressed that the Provincial Transportation Department will strengthen organizational leadership, strengthen accountability, improve working mechanism, clarify work capacity, coordinate and coordinate the help units to put more effort into supporting work. We will jointly implement the twinning & supporting measures to form a helping and assisting force, encourage all supporting units to give full play to their respective advantages in the industry, contribute to the development of Qingyuan, and ensure that the implementation of the twinning support task will be promoted, and thus providing a strong support for the development of Qingyuan.
